Love at first site is one thing - but being in love with someone who already has a girlfriend? This poem, my first one, is about my experience with this specific type of love-triangle. You can never ease the pain of being in love with someone who does not love you back. I, unfortunately, learned the hard way.
I'm not sure if you know or not
But I really do love you a lot.
You still hold a special place in my heart
And you did, right from the start.
But when she came along and took your breath away,
I was devastated and didn't know what to say.
I spend my nights crying, time after time,
I spent my days lying, saying I was fine.
Little did you know, my heart was crushed inside,
And on that day, a little of me died.
But with her, you look so in love
'Cause you are an angel from above.
I now have to teach my heart to move on,
For, you are now forever gone.
But about one thing I am unsure:
Why it can't be me, and not her.

I really loved your poem because I had a crush on a guy that already has a girfriend and my mind just shut down. My heart felt like it was torn in two when I saw him and her walking together and holding hands. I thought that I would still have feelings for him even if he had a girfriend, but in the end I cried and after that I realized that why should I cry over some stupid guy who sent me mixed emotions. I forgot all about him the next day, but I'm fine and plus there's always more than just one guy out there waiting for me.

This Reminds me of my first LOVE. He took my breath away til one day a girl came along and he decided he wanted her more than me so he left and now all I fell is a empty space in my heart. I never thought it would end or he was like that but he truned out to be.

This is something that my boyfriend's ex-girlfriend would say to get him back from me in which i love him and he loves me but she still holds a place in his heart and this is all she would have to say to get him back and leave me crying because i love him but other than that it really is a great poem
