About the Poem

This poem is about the night of our school's Homecoming Dance. This is how I felt when the guy I've been chrushing on for about 5 months asked me to dance.

Just One Song

That night the stars were out.
That night I fell in love.
I fell in love with you.
All it took was just one song

You might not of known it,
But yes it is true.
It was just one song
That made me love you.

We danced to that song,
It was so sweet.
It felt like it was
Just you and me.

Everyone went away.
Nothing really mattered.
You held me so close.
It was "Always and Forever"

I remember the song.
I play it everyday.
Just hoping one day
We can be together.

And all it took was
Just one Song
