About the Poem

A Poem about Hopelessness. A homeless person on a street

Hopelessness

Hopelessness sounds like
a homeless person
sitting with a bucket,
begging.
It feels like emptiness,
nobody giving.
It smells like a dirty sewer.
it tastes like wood,
which I might gnaw on,
It looks like sadness
drawing closer.
