About the Poem

Sometimes we just wish that it wasn't us getting hurt.

Reflection Of Me

I stare deep into the mirror.

My eyes are locked on those of my reflection.
I have been trying to understand how you found out
How vulnerable I was.

I'm trying to see how you could look into my mind
And see that I would do anything for you.
My reflection's eyes begin to cry and tears fall into
The empty sink.

It wipes its face, blinks, and turns away.
