The Castaway |
| by Pauline Hamblin |
As a child plays with his toys
You have played with my soul.
You used me, then abused me,
Causing me to lose control.
Broken and then cast aside,
Feelings of reject,
Wondering if I will survive,
My thoughts do so reflect.
How could you use me
And take away my pride?
When In the beginning
You promised to always stay by my side?
