About the Poem

I wrote this poem after leaving my husband. It was hard to move on, even though I realized it was the best thing for both of us. The love is still there, but I now know that it's not enough.

Remembrance

I remember all our happy times
But I wasn’t really happy.

I remember all our bad times,
But they weren’t that bad.

I remember loving you
But I wasn’t ever in love with you.

I remember my heart breaking.
It’s breaking now.

I was never married...but I just broke up with my boyfriend of 2 years...I realize now that I loved him, but I was never in love with him. My heart is still breaking though. I can't wait to find true love someday...I hope!!!!!
