About the Poem

What can you do when a stranger enters and happiness is threatened?

Your Heartgate

I cannot begin to tell you
How hurt and betrayed I feel.
All this must be a dream -
It's too painful to be real.

Who opened up your heartgate
And let this stranger in?
I never saw this coming
How did this all begin?

Can't you make those feelings
Go back out the way they came?
Send them back thru your heartgate
Before they cause more pain.

Then we can go back
To the way we were before
Pretend it was a bad dream
And stay together forever more.

OMi gosh. i can relate so much. My ex left me for some girl because he started to like her, when we had been together for a long time. He ruined everything. IM sorry it happened to you too. Its not a good feeling.
