About the Poem

This was written to a guy I met and we soon became friends. However, those feelings deepened into something more, but miles and my uncertainty about his feelings still keep us apart today.

The Jigsaw

Thinking.......
Remembering......
Placing all the
Past
Into one moment
Present......
Compressing love
To fit a small
Complicated
Jigsaw.
Will love explode?
When will this
Jigsaw
Be completed?

i like the way the poem felt as it rolled off my tongue. It wasn't choppy or jerky. It has a nice rhythm to it. It flows really good. I like that about a poem and of course the theme is nice. The poet has done a really good job.
