About the Poem

I met and fell in love with an angel. This poem is about what it means to me to know that I can trust him enough to jump in that completely trusting way that only children and fools can, knowing that he will catch me.

Casziel

That I will fall
is certain

So I dance, the fool
with fear nipping
unheeded
at my heels

My head is in the clouds
my eyes, wide open
seek a celestial horizon

Some certain self
knows the hinge of time
is there
fear certainly knows
but
I can feel the wind
of angel's wings

That he will catch me
is implied

That I will fall
is certain

It is very important to note that a lot of the poetry out there is just awful, at least form wise. The emotion is always true, sometimes just not expressed so well. I think this poem expressed the emotion well and had an interesting form. I truly liked it, and for me to take the time to fill out this comment box (something I *never* do) should say something. Good job.
