Rain has always inspired me for some reason. I guess it is like the poem says, it rejuvenates the earth from its dry and dusty state, and helps things grow - the way a special person in my life has rejuvenated me, and made me feel like I have bloomed again. For that I thank him so.
The rain falls down
soft and warm on the ground
like a gentle caress
which brings life to earth.
Flowers spring forth
blooming and standing tall
lifting their leaves to the sky.
Rejuvenation!
Funny,
sometimes I feel like that flower,
blooming and standing tall,
raising my petals to your sun,
stretching and growing in your warmth,
caressed by your gentle rain
which has brought forth life.
Rejuvenation!
