Special Day

It was a day like any other.
Although perhaps the sky was a little bluer,
Or is it simply the way it seems now
In my memory?

I would have taken more notice -
Preserved each precious detail in my mind for all time.
If only l had known then
How special the day was -
The day that l met you.
