Is This A Dream?

Is this a dream
to which I've yet to wake?
Open my eyes and
all is gone but a shameful ache?

Are these whispered words, pulsing emotions
created inside my head?
All an illusion, to find I wake
drowning in tears, in which I shed.

Everything that I wished for,
all that I felt, was it real?
Or was it just a mere fantasy
of what I wanted to feel?

If I do fall asleep, will I find you
if I fall into my dream land again?
Or is it just a passing of hearts,
emotions tossed into the wind?

Whirling emotions,
of a love in my heart,
I embrace so deep,
passion shattered,
tossed about,
falling freely,
as I yearn again to sleep.

To Dream . . . the ultimate dream.

THIS POEM TOUCHED ME, BECAUSE IAM FEELING THE SAME WAY, I HAD JUST LEFTED A BAD REALATIONSHIP, AND THIS NEW GUY IAM WITH , WELL IT JUST FEELS LIKE A DREAM. MY X AND MY B/F NOW. WELL SOON TO BE HUSBAND ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. FOR A WHILE I THOUGHT ALL GUYS WERE THE SAME. BCUZ MY X BEAT ME AND MY SON TO DEATH. SO THATS WHY FOR AWHILE, I HATED GUYS. BUT MY SOON TO BE HUSBAND, CHANGED IT AROUND.

lately i fouunf myself deeply in love wiht someone and yet i cna't seem to find the true words to express what i really feel deeply inside myself and when i read this poem, it reflected my whirling emotion inside myself and the fact that everything seem to be a dream to be a good dream!! i love this poem and I have already sent my love one this poem!!!
