Last Night |
| by Ryan Linquist |
I lied there next to you.
I poured out my heart,
all my thoughts,
and all my feelings
about you.
We spent the day together,
all day.
I know that you know,
or once knew,
but I had to tell you.
I poured out my heart.
I told you everything
except
I love you.
I lied there next to you,
remembering,
thinking
how I must have
looked like a fool.
I lied there next to you.
You asked me,
"What are you thinking about?"
I replied,
"Oh, nothing."
