About the Poem
Nothing is more satisfying than realizing for the first time that you hold the key to another's heart . . .
You Belong To Me
|by Pauline Hamblin
Christmas comes but once a year,
Merry spirits spreading cheer.
But the best gift I ever received,
Realizing your heart belongs to me.
It is written in the stars,
That our love it will go far.
Away from me you'll never be,
For you gave your heart to me.
Your heart no longer all your own,
Proven by the love you've shown.
Proving what is meant to be,
That your heart belongs to me.
