About the Poem

When two hearts beat as one and two souls unite together, this is true love. Only a divine intervention can truly bring together two separate bodies in this way.

Many times, we are together with someone yet our souls and hearts still yearn for more. We are left unsatisfied and do not know why. True love is not there. However, when that one certain person comes along, the one person in the world that you are meant to be with, you are left complete.

Complete and whole is how I now feel since a certain man came into my life. I am loved from the inside out, the way love was meant to be felt. 		Love Poems

I Love You, My Darling

I love you, my darling,
and you know it's true
I thank God in Heaven
for someone like you.

I never knew how empty
my life really could be
But this is what I lived
before He gave you to me.

Whole is my life
for you are here now
To continue without you
I do not know how.

So be with me forever
my heart needs your stay
'Twould stop its rhythm
if you ever went away.

I know this love
for you will last
You are my future,
my now, my past.
