The Best Thing To Say

At first I never realized...
What you meant to me
But, now that I have found you,
I realize you mean everything.

I have never been perfect
But, no one is but, you.
An angel from above,
I promise to do my best to please you.

I have always searched
And struggled for a way
To find the word to show you're importance to me
But, I love you... is all I can say and do.

But, I love you is the one thing that has always been true.
