About the Poem

There's something magical about true love. It touches our very soul, it comforts us, it restores the spirit of the child in us. Love teaches patience and understanding, encourages growth from within and completes us. The essence of life is experienced through the magic of love.......

This is dedicated to my love, Charlie

Love's Magic

We know so little about life.
Each day is a new beginning,
Offering challenges, sorrows, joy.
We see its adventure through the eyes of a child,
With the expectations, heart and soul of an adult.

Then one day someone new enters our life
And we are forever changed
By their smile, their words, their touch.
We regain the adventurous spirit of a child
And know the Magic of love once again.

How true that love makes us feel young again. Whether a teenager or an adult, I think the magical properties of love can touch you in the same way.
