Free Fall |
| by Tara Simms |
Standing on the edge
Discovering fears deep inside
The swirling abyss lies before me.
Beckoning,
Taunting,
Calling my name.
Slowly moving forward,
Hanging on with both hands, my eyes closed.
Afraid to slip,
Afraid to see.
A leap of faith:
Plunging into the unknown.
Total release.
Complete surrender.
Flying free.
Falling fast.
No holding back.
Knowing you’ll be there to catch me.
