This poem was so beautifully written. I could feel the emotion and envision the love that the poem was referring to. I have spent over an hour gazing over many poems in this site. yours is definitely the one that's captured my soul.
This poem really touched me as it reminded me so much of my love ...

The Dream

I blink in dawn's fresh golden light
Beholding such a wondrous sight
A vision that is fresh and fair
Your silken sunlit fiery hair
A spreading fan across my chest
Where your dear head laid down to rest
I stroke it gently from your face
And gasp in awe at your sweet grace
I watch your mouth, the soft moist lips
Caress your cheek with fingertips
Touching your alabaster skin
I know more beauty lies within.
I blink in dawn's fresh golden light
And hope this dream returns tonight.
