Hearts Lost

I was lost, lonely, and scared
and for some reason you came into my life.
I felt empty, I had nothing left to give.
But then your eagle became my angel
and gave my soul the wings to fly.
You were there, but now you're gone.

This is the story of my life. Life is about taking risks, and those risk often involve pain that appears to be for no purpose other than to leave scars
