About the Poem

In life, and in relationships people get into certain roles as time takes place. There are martyrs, people motivated by happiness, people obsessed with the darkside of life, and so on. Sometimes, the roles in a relationships between friends can be characterized by the things in life, instead of labels of behaviors.

In my case, I am describes as the moon. There is a sun and an earth in my life, and if you look closely, you can see that some of the moon's cries are to the earth.

The moon, in cycles...lives the life in the shadows as the sun takes over the earth, but there will be a time when the earth will listen, so if you are the earth in a relationship between friends or whoever... listen to the other side, there is something in the dark, something you can't see, the moon has a story, the moon shines as well! Lunar

In the beginning,
always spinning.
That is what happens when the new moon comes.
Unseen,
that's where I've been.
That is what happens when the new moon comes.

The next phase,
still in primitive glaze.
That is what happens when the first quarter comes.
Confused,
and still abused.
That is what happens when the first quarter comes.

Half-way there,
all begin to stare.
That is what happens when the Half-full moon comes.
Pain full times,
horrible rhymes.
That is what happens when the Half-full moon comes.

I move on,
surprisingly your not gone.
That is what happens when the third quarter comes.
When you are by my side,
I control your peaceful tide.
That is what happens when the third quarter comes.

The cycle is at ends,
my feelings are stronger than just friends.
That is what happens when the full moon comes.
You feel unclear,
it's ok, I will soon disappear.
That is what happens when the full moon comes.

Start again,
then reach the end.
That is what happens when you are the moon.
Control the blue,
just as you knew.
That is what happens when you are the moon.
