Insight |
| by Shawn Pearson |
Your insight helps open my eyes,
Showing a world I could never surmise.
Push me on, please don’t ever stop,
From out of sin’s pit and straight over the top.
Two will always be better than one,
A tandem can better get the Father’s will done.
To strengthen each other when the flesh becomes frail,
To bring peace and love in times of travail.
God knew that I was a weak-hearted man,
That’s why our friendship was part of His plan.
You lead me down paths I would have never selected,
In our love everyday, I see His image perfected.
It hurts to hold on so let go I must,
a new theme for my life: in Jesus I trust.
