About the Poem

I wrote this poem for a friend I met on the Internet. We happened onto each other purely by chance, and from the moment we started to chat it felt like we knew each other forever. We are both very spiritual people. I ask myself, now, was our meeting chance or did fate and destiny play a role.

We are not romantically involved. I am ten years older than my friend and happily married. He is single and still searching for his soulmate. We live on opposite sides of the world. We share a special bond, one I can't explain. I know we will be friends forever. Or maybe we have been already. 		Love Poems

Friendship Of The Souls

Have you ever felt like you knew someone a long, long time ago?
Another place, another time, a friendship of the souls?
Two people who share a bond for reasons neither know,
A feeling that they were friends, a long, long time ago?

Did they stumble onto each other by pure circumstance,
Or was it fate and destiny that played a certain hand?
Two souls intertwined, they are worlds apart,
But the soul, it knows no difference, in matters of the heart.

Somehow they are drawn together, fate has brought them back,
Each living worlds apart, they journey separate paths.
When this life is over, and a new life begins,
Their souls will find each other, two souls that we call friends.

This poem is truly meaningful. I like this poem and it reminds me my internet friend. We've been pals for four yrs and its juz goin' on. The best and the most beautiful things in the world can't be seen or touched but are felt in the heart. Looking 4ward more poems from youuu Teller,God bless.
