My childhood has been hard and I remember when I wanted to die. I remember holding the knife and crying. But than I remembered the words "suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem"
My friend tried to slit his wrist and I know that many think no one cares. It's unfortunate that so many great lives end because someone didn't take the time to show they cared. Only God has the write to take lives

i like this poem a lot, it makes me think of me and the mistakes that i do, like others i am a cutter and this really makes me think about what i do and how it makes me feel. thank you for writting this

I've been contemplating suicide for years, it scares me to think about how I can end my life. One of the things keeping me from going through with it is my family, who don't even know how they've helped me. It's great to have tears on my cheeks again, after just bottling them up for so long.

I love this poem. It says alot to me. I'm going through a divorce with my parents and I tried to commit suicide. I then thought that I have friends and family that lo9ves me. I lost a best friend to suicide in March of 2004. He thought he was all alone,but really he had alot of friends and family that loved him. He just never knew it. The thing I learned is that suicide is NOT the answer. It doesn't solve your problems and make them go away,the problems still there and you've just created a new one. So,what I'm trying to say is that that was a very great and understanding poem and suicide is NOT the answer to your problem!
