I dont have the words to say what I want to. For that past few weeks I have been on the verge of a major life change and this did it. I am the kind of girl who hasnt cried since I was 6 and this poem not only brought up all the memories of my past with my dad but everything. I'm practically bawling. Thank you
Alisa
Very good poem. I really admire your writing ability.

I really enjoy reading this poem! My dad did not run out on me when i was born but he has never been there for me. He was into drugs and crimes all my life he has been in and out of jail and now that i have a younger sister she has never experienced a real dad. I feel all your pain and dont worry things will get better!

Hi Amanda, I love your poem. I too can relate to your words. I would however, like to let everyone who can relate to hold on to hope. By a true miracle, I met my Father for the first time (I'm 35 years old) this past April. We were not looking for each other, we live live on opposite sides of the country. It was a true miracle that we have found each other - and are forming a great relationship. Great Things do happen - TRUST GOD - He will take care of you!
Thank
This was a grat poem when i waqs three my mom left my dad because of abuse although i am 14 now it still hurts alot! aand this poem helped me alot even though i don't know who you are thank you from the bottom of my heart Love in christ

My dad did the same thing and I often wonder where he is, what he's doing, or if he ever thinks about me. I've got another ad now, one who loves me and all he's been there for 15years and I'm only 16 so he is my dad really. But, there's a part of me that does wonder what he'd be like and if he'd ever love me, and what we would do if I ever met him.
Amanda
I like this poem. Because it expresses her feelings. And thats what makes a good poem.
cari

I love your poem! My dad died just in May and we were not close at all. We did not know each other, we fought all the time! Your poem is well written. Keep you the good work!

those words express waht i have been thinking for all of my life. to you i congratulate for writing it so well. i have not seen my biological father for seven years. my so called 'dad', is someone who i cannot relate to personally, and i often dream- like you do- that i could be in a normal family and have a mum and dad. your poem has inspired me to express what i feel- this is an excellent piece.
Sam
Oh my gos this is SO me! I know what you mean and all. I love it- it made me cry

Daddy's little girl is a poetry that I can really relate to because I don't know anything about my biological father and he did ran out on my mom so this really means a lot on finding someone who also shares the same thing as I do.
Claire
I hope your Dad one day rekindles the love between him and you. I, on the other hand, will never have the oppurtunity, you see My Dad died when I was four and I can never imagine your dream, It would be great and by the way Good Luck

I like this poem because I have a dad who did not do anything with me my whole life. So, that poem I am going to give to my dad and make him think about his 3 children and maybe it will make him realize something about us.
