My 13 year old daughter passed away on December 6, 2002. I had this poem read at her funeral as it seemed to mirror my very thoughts and feelings that I was not able to express myself. Thank you Kelly for the lovely poem.

I am so sorry for your loss. That poem was lovely. It brought tears to my eyes. Being a mother and having to lose a child is the hardest things in my life i had to deal with. They say with time it gets easier. But they are so wrong . there is not one day that goes by that i don't think of my daughter. Your poem came from your heart and that is where you will always have your son.
