He Is There |
| by Jennifer Hepper |
Whenever I got lonely,
You would always be right there.
You would take me by the hand,
And go with me anywhere.
You would listen to the things
That were going through my head,
And guide me through the worst of times
And all the things I'd said.
I know that you do care for me,
Because I feel it in my heart;
And I pray that you will stay with me,
And that we shall never drift apart.
I know that I shall meet you,
And when I do I will cry;
But until that wonderful day does come,
I can just pray and look up at the sky.
