About the Poem

A simple poem about the afterlife, and decisions made in our life on Earth.

If I Were To Die Today

If I was to die this hour
Where would I be headed
Would I be going to hell
or would I be going to heaven

Thoughts go through my mind
if there even is a heaven
if God really exists
if I should believe in the Reugrend

But then it occurs to me
That in Jesus Christ I believe
That life would not be complete
Without him guiding me

Jesus is the light
Jesus is free
Jesus is love
He lives within me

It's a wonderful show of faith, and helped me explain my faith to a nonbelieving close friend of mine.
