About the Poem

God will always carry His children through all of life's pains--Because He knows and He feels every Sorrow we endure.

He Knows

I poured my heart out;
I knew He heard every word;
I told Him of my great pain--
How it seemed no one understood
My beautiful son suffered and died
I watched months as he lingered
His pain was mine.
He was so young, just thirty-four
His death seemed such a waste.
His life had been full, rewarding
And he was so blessed.
I told Him I needed to know why.
He has not given me answers--
But much more
He's lived my pain of a child's death
He could have saved his son-
I endure the pain-I have no choice
He bears the pain because He loves me.
