Dear Lord |
| by Mindy Carpenter |
Dear Lord, from Heaven above,
I am sending all my love.
I pray that when I die,
You'll take me to your palace in the sky.
In you, I do trust,
To follow your word, I'll do what I must.
Your only son you did give,
To let the rest of us live.
I know you will keep me from sin,
And keep me from the devils den.
I pray it is my fate,
To one day see that pearly gate.
