Shining Light |
| by Rosebud |
At Christmas time in Bethlehem
So many years ago,
God sent a light to shine day and night
And guide us, this we know.
Every year at this special time
In a winter deep and cold;
We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ,
And his story is told.
This light will help us all our days,
In good times and in bad.
>From the day we are born till the day we die,
Through all the troubles we've had.
Light, love, and life, a beacon
Of hope to pull us through -
We need someone to guide us
In everything we do.
At Christmas time in Bethlehem,
Nearly two thousand years today,
God gave us a baby boy named Jesus
To guide us on our way.
