About the Poem

This poem is about love being over and you think about everything that you wasted by caring about someone that hurt you.

A broken heart
torn by your hands

A sweet face
ruined by your kisses

A gentle body
that never wants to be touched again

A mind shattered
by your caring words

A life devastated
when you left without looking back

A strong person
that will never love again

Wow, thank you for this poem. I loved it.
I loved your poem. It is amazing how you put into words emotions that I have felt before from my ex of 7 years. Not a day goes by that I wish I could truly love and trust another.
I know exactly how you felt when you wrote this, infact i still do feel that way. My b/f of 6 years left me recently and there's not a day that goes by where i don't feel as though i will ever love again. I hope this isn't true for you and that you have found love again. Thankyou for sharing your wonderful work with me and others.
this poem is so good!!!! this remids me of when my EX-boyfriend cheated on me and that is exactly how i fetl!!!!
again your poem made me cry b/c of how sweet and true it is
