Learning how to love is a life long process. Each day we learn a little more. It can be hard work and sometimes we make mistakes, but Love is worth the effort!
I believe that none could love you
quite as deeply as I do;
And yet I often fail to show
the depth of it to you.
I vow to do the little things,
to show you every day;
But one thing or another
seems to get into the way.
I pledge to be more open,
to have courage and be strong;
But some how fear takes over
and then everything goes wrong.
I dream of perfect love for us,
and hope that it will be;
And yet I end up giving you
a less than perfect me.
I want to be much more for you,
be everything you need.
I hope and seek, beg and pray
"Change me Lord! ", I plead.
You are the only one I want.
It is for you I yearn.
I guess, my love, there's still so much
that I have yet to learn.
I cannot give perfection,
but this I promise I will do -
I will spend my life time learning
how to give my love to you.

Your poem brought me to tears. u didnt miss not one word. For a minute I thought my boyfriend or soon to be ex was talking to me! It really 100% describes what we're going through right now! Sometimes we wish our love ones could read our mind and understand our love, we only so much love to give, and so much we can take. He said, he'll change jus give him a chance. I gave him more than one! Chances were given. if I only knew. what I was getting myself into again! I gave our love another try and he gave me lies he tries to deny! This is the end. I will never love again! I dont understand how someone who says they love you, hurts you! Especially knowing about all my past relationships. It never fails! It always ends this way. love made a fool of me! Thank you again! I jus wanted and needed to express my feelings. Continue doing what u do! God Bless!
