Miles cannot separate me from the man I love. Although face-to-face communication is few and far between, his heart still finds ways to speak to me.

He Calls To Me

He calls to me across the miles
Night winds carry his whispers
They float on the breeze and through my windows
Falling gently upon my ears
- Hush -
I hear him now.

He calls to me from the heavens
Glittering stars cannot compare to the sparkle of his eyes
When he looks at me, I am consumed by the fire
I see him now.

He calls to me through my dreams
Dancing together in the shadows of my sleep
Where we laugh and love once again
I am in his arms
I feel him now.

He calls to me
Every moment of every day
Distance couldn't keep us apart
When destiny drew us together
I'll hold him for eternity
As long as he keeps calling.

OH this poem is simply orgasmic! it really touches me. i love the hush part its SO original and as i read it i felt so beautiful inside and out it reminds me of when i think about Josh at night all lonely but it makes me feel so great!

"He Calls to Me" has an excellent flow that keeps my attention. As you read it a picture will forms in my mind. I call that instant escape. It is one of the better Love Poems I've read in some time. So I give it a vote of Outstanding.

I lost someone very close to me, he's no longer in this world, though I still feel him calling out to me. I liked the way the poet wrote this peom because I think the poem has true depth and feeling, which is needed in order for the poem to come to life and connect with people touching them emotionally.
