now is gone
I will always
love forever
the laughs
the tears
the smiles
without her
my life has no direction
no ups nor downs
no smiles or frowns
I miss her
I cry
I see her
I lie
what ever went wrong
I can mend
I will always
love forever
my very best friend

I need to commend you,for loving your friend in words from the heart. 4 years ago,i got a phone call at 230 in the morning,my BEST friend had died suddenly/she was a single mom of a 9 year old little girl,but the only friend who loved me no matter what. Everyday I miss her,I crave her,. im sure you know . I need to tell you she wrote poetry. when her sister and I were going through her business papers,I found a poem she wrote in her journal,about Me,her best friend. As I read your beautiful poem, you remind me of her,Her name is Karla Merrick,she was 31 and would have loved your poem.

This is MY LIFE. I've had the same "BEST FRIEND" for 10 yrs. I gave her a $70 "Best Friend" neclace for x-mas of "05". In January we had a non- reasonable canflict. now she's gone forever. and I regret not having her in my life. she was more than a "BEST FRIEND". she was a sister I wish I had. "I STILL LOVE HER WITH ALL MY HEART AND TIL THIS DAY SHE WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART!"

i really loved this poem-i actually used it in english class. but i love it b/c im going through some rough times with my best friend and i just really connected with it. i feel like this poem really applied to me. i got my attention and i plan on sending to my best friend in hopes it will open her eyes and maybe make her realize what im going through.
