About the Poem

I recently lost a woman that raised me, through actions and her loving guidance, from birth. She showed me how to love others, consider their feelings, and to always have pride in myself and know that I am loved.

I will miss her greatly, but God needed another angel, and she already has the experience from her years here - guiding and loving all, from her closest family to a person she might be waiting in line with at the grocery store.

Everything I do, everything I accomplish, I do with her in my mind and in my heart.

In Loving Memory of Marie 1928-2000

Never Alone

I feel you in the morning
When at first I awake
Your thought is with me
With each decision I make

You'd been around forever
Since the first breath I took
Now I have to go on alone
But for love, I need not look

Cause by what you bestowed
In our short time together
Will last in my heart
Forever and ever

Although you've left
And now walk above
I'm never alone
I'm wrapped in your love

Enjoy now your long waited reward
Feel peace that your love continues on
What was taught to me, will be taught to mine
Cause you live on in me even after you've gone

I think the poem is very moving it expresses deep emotion that often does'nt surface Still waiting for the loved one to help with decisions, and how their heart breaks but not from lack of love. They were left a life time full of love. They still feel comforted by their loved one (stating the strong bond) between them. They were taught love at the first breath they took and that is a wounderful feeling to pass on. To be so sure to say (I AM LOVED)
