I met a wonderful man through the Internet and we began to talk, growing to know one another. And while going through my old poems, I came across this one. It described Drey and I so well that I knew I had to keep this poem, sort of like a memory of my feelings, of how I felt towards him before I even met him. Love Poems

Until We Meet

Until we meet
My nights will be a little colder
My days a little shorter
My heart will beat a little less rapid
Until we meet
I know that my arms will be empty
My mind hurting from the constant thought of you
Minutes will seem to be hours
Hours will seem to be months
While months will seem like eternity
Until we meet
The stars in the sky will not affect me
with its gleaming sparkles of life

Until I am gazing at them in your arms
And the food that I eat will not be as fulfilling and nourishing
Until it is you that I share the my food with
And Until we meet
I will not feel whole
My world will seem incomplete
Until that wonderful day
When our eyes make first contact
And our bodies and souls collide in blissful whirlwind
The words will roll off my tongue like a sweet love song
"Hello, my love, I couldn't wait to meet you."

this is not only a poem this is a heart beat of many coupels , and mine also . inthis poem the poet is not writing with wwords, he is writing with the imotions and his feelings. the only man can do it who ever been in love . the auther knows the feelings of the love and his lover , and he knows that . what to say , i only want to say this is too much . may god give u strengh to write on and on and on .

I loved this poem. It was sent to me by the man I love and I almost cried. It is everthing that I want to tell him. Even though we have never met he is the one that I will love for the rest of my life. Without him my life is empty. I cant wait to be with him in a few months.

This poem i can really relate too. I've fallen in love with soemone online and I;ve been with him for over a year and a half now and he's comming to see me in about a month. and ever time i think about it i just wanna cry. I've been searching for poems wich can finally relate to this expirience and to find other people in which share the somewhat same expirience in finding a soulmate or even just a great friend online. Astounding! I very rarely go out of my way to LOOK for poetry. i usually come up short of what im looking for. I have been with my lovely tiffany for 7 months now. she lives in california, i live in ohio. As difficult as it is to do, i feel that its the most exquisite woman i have ever met. (Even though im only 21 years old) There will never be another like her. I love her with everything i have in me, and i know she loves me back. This poem is not only wonderful on its own, but its also wonderful in the eyes of those who know. I want to thank the author for what im feeling inside right now. A new level of anticipation and love. one last thing, you can bet ill be sending this to her as well! ;)

This is a great poem. The first time i read it just hit me that it fits so much like i feel about a girl that i love and hope to meet one day and be together forever. Its a great all around poem for distant lovers
