About the Poem

This is a short poem that is about what you make of it. It could be about a close friend or a lover.

Sunset

I sit and watch the sun
as it sets into the mountains,
You are sitting just close enough
for me to feel your warmth,
The colors of the sky swirl into a daze
and I disappear,
With the last of the suns rays
I float through the clouds,
But I can still feel your warmth
on my smooth skin,
It puts the reassurance into my heart
that you are there to keep me warm.
