i really like this poem because it makes me think of my mom who passed away a month ago.

This poem is amazing and I'm sure that the friend you gave it to was deeply comforted by your kind words. I'm writing a poem about my Grandad for school and I'm finding it really hard, but if my poem ends up half as good as this one I'll be very pleased. A trully wonderfully and touching poem!

this is one of the most beautiful poems that i have read. it really touched me,i lost my mother many years ago. in october this year i lost my sister in law i actually wrote the last verse on her flowers as she meant so much to me thank you.

I Love this poem. I thought it was great, it touched me. I lost my Mother 9 years ago, this meant alot to me. I printed this poem out, because i like to collect poems that remind me of the memories of her.

Tim, this poem brought instant tears to my eyes. You see my husband and I are raising our two grandchildren, 3 1/2 and 10 1/2 years old. Their mother was taken from them in April, 2003 by their father. Very long, heart breaking story. My 10 year old granddaughter has had a very hard time dealing with the loss her mommy, especially around Mother's Day, and other holidays. Her little brother was only 6 months old at the time of his mommy's death, for a better choice of words, but, recently. has been asking for his "mommy". This broke my heart as, I know, he is coming to the age where he see the difference in mommy and nana (me). I try to explain to both of them that mommy now lives in Heaven, way, way up in the sky with Jesus, but watches over them everyday. I teach them that one day, our Lord will come to get us to take us to Heaven, too and we all will be together. This Mother's Day, we are going to do something special. The kids will make a Mother's Day card and I will get a big Happy Mother's Day balloon filled with helieum. We will attach the card to the balloon and while we are visiting mommy's gravesite, the children will let the balloon go up, up into the sky to mommy. These two children are my life, as well as my husbands. We don't understand "why" this had to happen, and would do anything to turn the clock back, but know that's not possible. However, my husband and I have been given a precious gift by being able to love, guide and cherish the two little people. Your poem says what my Granddaughter has said over and over, Mommy is an Angel and sometimes she can feel she is close to her. Wonderful expression of how even little people feel when they loose their mommy at such a fragile age. Thank you. I will print this out for my granddaughter as I know she will love it!

My beloved grandmother died yesterday and we are all circling around the void her passing has left. I wanted to read a poem at her funeral and finding this poem was clearly meant to be. im 16 and i lost my mum 2 years ago to cancer. the poem reminds me of the brilliant person she was and how she would be a perfect candidate for an angel in heaven. i miss her so much but this poem provides that bit of inner peace we need to keep us going knowing she is in a better place and is no longer suffering. Your poem hits heart. I lost my mother Dec. 12th 2003 I miss her alot. Though I know her spirits are here. She died at the age of 69 of kidney failure & heart disease. It was very sudden. We did not know that she was going to heaven, but i do know now that she is in less pain and with my dad. Thank you sharing that the angels are taking care of my parents. I miss them both very much. I am 35 yrs old and not having a mother or father is hard, but my family is helping me cope. Thank you for helping me see the way.

My mother passed away 5 weeks this Friday. I believe an angel came and got her, the angel being my son who died in 1989 aged two and a half years.

I recently lost my mother to luncg cancer, she passed in Sept , i've searched and searched for a poem i could add to my scrap book of memories , I came to your site and found not only one but many . I want to thank you for sharing your beautiful poems they are very touching

it is bueatiful it was sent to us by a dear friend as my mother-in-law has just died and it says everything that was needed to be said by all 3 of her children, they all loved it and it touched there hearts enough to be read out by a member of the family in church

I liked the poem, because I was looking for a poem to put next to my mother's picture in my photo album. My mother passed away on April 21, 2001. I miss her dearly and really loved my mom. If there was one wish in the world, that would be to have my mom back.

My mother, 52, just died and we watched her go from being alive and alert to slipping into a coma and this poem really brought peace to me, knowing that she is in a place where angels are.
