This is a poem I wrote when I was having trouble with my boyfriend. It was about the possibility of ending our relationship.

Over For Now

I knew someday it would have to end
I knew eventually I would have to go back to calling you friend
It's killing me that now that day has come
If it's for the best then where is this pain from
I know deep inside that this is what I had to do
but it's breaking my heart to walk away from you
I'm trying my best to appear strong
but it's hard when part of me says that in your arms is where I belong
I still love you with all my heart
that's not going to change even though we're apart
You were my first love and my first kiss

There are so many of our special times I'm going to miss
All the words I ever said or wrote still hold true
But for now from a distance is where I'll be loving you
I think you need me as a friend to help you through
because there are things I can't control that are hurting you
We both have issues no one knows of
neither of us had the strength to be true to our love
Maybe we will be together again if it was meant to be
but for now please don't stop loving me
Even though I'm not your girlfriend I'll still be here
With a shoulder to cry on or a sympathetic ear
The story of love can be quicker than the blink of an eye
But our story of won't be over until the day that we die
Until We Meet Again

its true all that the poem says i just feel like im going to die i had a gf for 1 year and 5 months i broke up wt her i was so jelous that she went party wt friends. i was scared to lose her. and i feel in my own trap . this was 5 days ago and im dying wtout her i miss her so much , but the problem is that i live in honduras she lives in usa. she used to live here and then she moved. thats why im so jelous cuz i cant lose her , but know i lost her and its my faul , im sorry rachel u will be the only one on my heart forever and ever i swear to god. you are not perfect nobody is but u have the half that makes me complete. im sorry. im really sorry i love u so much i hope u someday talk to me again. i love ill keep calling u . and i dont know why im saying this here. i just need it to let it out. maybe she reads it. i love her wt all my heart.

I know exactually how u feel or are trying to protray. I have a love just like that. or well i did. I have felt that way for 3 yrs. just praying that he still loved me. because he was my first love and my first kiss. Hey, I love your poem it really reminded me of my first love Gene but after we broke he didn,t want nothing to do with me even though I told him I still wanted to be friends, that I will always love him, and that maybe in the furture we could be together. He hates my gutes til this day!But we have both moved on I am in love with my bf now,Tyler he treats me really we have been dating for about 7 months now and we love being arond each other. Wow, your poem really moved me. After reading your poem, I guess I'm not the only person who supports the idea of "not finding someone to replace the previous one". I guess there is nothing wrong with loving someone from a distance like what you've wrote. Yeah, for awhile I've offer her a shoulder and a symphathetic ear too. even offered her my heart. After what happened back then to us, it made me the only guy for her to open up to whenever they both have a bit of issues. Nice poem!
