About the Poem

This is a poem I wrote for my love, after she went home for the summer. I wrote it to tell her what she meant to me.

What She Is

She is the dawn, the new light, the honey sweet dew
She awakens the world and brings new hope
She is the cool night, that raises the senses and quickens the pulse
She opens the sprit within and releases the primal energy
She is the water where life began, that refreshed the body.
She cleanses the soul.
She is the fire that brings warmth in the cold darkness and light into the heart.
She allows me to see the truth.
She is the one. she is life.
She is the soul and the heart.
She is strength and the force.
She is my life and my love.
She is the one.
