About how you can fall in love so unexpectedly with your best friend. How hard it is to deal with seeing the guy you love with all your heart and would trust with your life with the girl he loves so much. Seeing him be hurt at the same time you discover you are truly in love with him.

I FREAKIN LOVE THIS POEM IT LIKE SO TOUCH ME. IM KINDA IN THE SAME SITUATION RIGHT NOW I HAVE THIS BESTFRIEND OF MINE THAT I HAVE FALLIN INLOVE WITH. HE HAS THIS EX HE'S BEEN WITH HER OFF AND ON 3 YEARS BUT HE HASNT GOT BACK WITH HER FOR LIKE 1 YEAR I DONT GET HE GIVES ME SIGNS THAT HE HAS FEELINGS FOR ME BUT THEN HE TWISTES AROUND AND SAYS I LOVE LIKE A FRIEND IM VERY CONFUSE. TILL THIS MOMMENT I STILL HAVENT TOLD HIM HOW I FEEL CUZ I RATHER LOSE THAT DEN 2 LOSE HIM AS MY BESTFRIEND. I THINK IM NEVER GONNA TELL HIM BUT PEOPLE SAY HE LIKES ME SO SHOULD JUX TELL HIM BUT THEY REALLY WELL NEVER KNOW HOW HARD IT IS JUX 2 SAY THEM SIMPLE WORDS. WATERVER HAPPENDS HAPPENDS. The summer we met how could I have known I saw you that first time standing alone I was new to the crowd and a little bit scared I needed a friend who really cared I never thought it would be you who'd come when I was down I always felt if my life flooded you'd just let me drown I don't know how it happened, you were suddenly my best friend I sat and listened to you cry Your broken heart I tried to mend You told me about the girl you loved I told you be patient to look up above I said to trust God to really pray You said that you had, so I prayed everyday I asked God to guide you and help you to see I told you you could always depend on me You got what you wanted but she doesn't treat you right You both argue and she always starts a fight One night we were talking about something she'd done I had known I liked you but then it hit me all in one Suddenly I knew I loved you more than life itself and I broke down and cried all by myself When I finally told you you didn't seem surprised I stood in front of you drying my eyes I love you more than words can say I think about you everyday You are my best friend and I hate to see you cry I try to hide my feelings believe me(name) I try I know I'll never measure up to what you see in her, she's the luckiest girl I've ever known But just know you're never on your own I love you, my best friend |

This is the best poem that I have ever read. I can't believe how much that describes the same exact situation that I am experiencing right now. Everything that you wrote down has happened to me, the same way. Meeting him in the summer, having him like another girl but helping him through it and giving him advice anyways even though you had feelings for him. I swear this poem was written about me! It made me cry just to read that poem and think of everything. You have super amazing talents and should keep writing. Awesome job and keep up the outstanding job. AMAZING!

I really like this poem 'cauz this is the way i felt about one of my best friends he knew i liked him but he told me the only reason he didn' want to go out with me was he was afraid i would hurt our friendship but in the end we ended up not being friends at all

I know exactly how you feel. I just told my friend not too long ago how I felt about him and now his exgirlfriend wants him back. she treated him like dirt! It hurts to see that he wants her back too, but whatever makes him happy will make me happy, even though, I am really crying inside. Keep your hopes up, maybe some day reality will hit him like it hit you and pray that SOMEDAY you can be together. For now be you, and all you can be, and remember there are others out there. This is a great poem. A while ago my best friend was haveing troubbles with her boyfriend and I was helping her mend her heart. Then I realized that I was falling in love with her. when I told her she just said "I dont know what to say," Now she is getting back togeather with her boyfriend even though he treats her bad sometimes. And now I am broken Hearted once again.
