About the Poem

This poem is about the victims of the world hidden in the shadows of fear, and how the world turns their heart away from the people in pain.

Victims

The victims of the world
stand in a shadow
for we cannot see them
but yet we hurt them so much
why?
Why do we have to hurt each other
so much?
Why are our minds so weak?
I wish I could heal
their broken emotions and
protect them from the pain the world gives them
the victims of the world
live beyond our four walls
it's up to you to help
the shadows of the world
if not
be careful you might become one
of whom you won't help
then you could feel the pain
you gave them
and wonder why the world has put you
aside.
