About the Poem

This poem was created during the time of a Great break up. It describes the meaning of loss.

I Never Knew How Much I Loved You

Until you left my side
I feel so alone, left with my anguish
and memories from the past
I look at you from afar wishing you were here
But I know that is not possible
Where we were one we are now two.
