I Love You, My Friend

Shall I run or hide
And die inside
Or pretend
That I never knew you, even as a friend?

Can I go back in time,
Before your hand was in mine,
Or erase the kiss,
That I will forever miss,
Or forget your eyes
That seem to hypnotize?

Can my mind erase
The feel of your embrace?
How can I forget all of this
And pretend it doesn't exist?

I want you to know one thing that will never end -
my love for you. I love you, my friend

THIS POEM IS ON OF A KIND ,IT SAYS JUST WHAT I WANTED TO SAY TO MY EXBROYFRIEND . When i sent this poem to him, his reply was man that is so true. He is living in the Islands and when ever we talk this poem is what we always end our conversation with . We are so married to other people ,but we are still madly in love with each other.

Wow ! these words are so touching and yet so real and thus too far for us at this very momemt. but because of these words, it will makes want us more then to embrace on a journey of time and faith. My friend and I are going through rough times right now she has a boyfriend and she is always with him, and we used to tlak all the time and now he is in her life and i like her and now its like i dont matter and I love her so much and all i do is freak her out.
