About the Poem
This is a Poem I wrote for a Man that had stepped into my Life when my world was a dark and lonely place. How can you not fall in Love with such an Angel?? Well I fell in Love with him and although he is the Greatest Man in my Life we are only friends, but yet we act like more. I am confused...But even though he doesn't feel the same way I do. I will Love him anyways.

I Will Love You Anyways |

You walked into my Life, when my world was dark and cold, you held out your arms, and my heart and soul you did hold. You promised you would never leave, that you would always be there, I never knew that I meant so much, that my heart was worth enough to care. You showed me so many things, I started to dream of you every night, you melted the coldness in my heart, with the warmth of your light. I ended up falling for you, how could I not - you're an Angel in disguise, and every touch from you makes my soul hot. But then you told me it's not the same. for you only think of me as a friend, I cannot understand this, the wrong messages you did send. I never knew you bought your friend flowers, and touched them like a lover, I never knew you held your friends' hand and caressed them under the covers. I am so far, I cannot turn back now, you are My Best friend, so what do I do now. I don't know much, except here I am again in Love with another man who only wants to be my friend. I'm not sure if this is wrong, then again I don't know what's right, I will Love You Anyways, even if its a lonely fight. |

That poem really made me think of this guy named Zach he told me he liked me,then the next week,I saw my best friend all over him I told him what are you doing I thought you liked me your just a friend he saiD.

There was something about this poem that touched me. I think its the fact that ive been there before. I fell in love with someone then found out they just wanted to be friends. I was well put and well thought of.

Your poem moved me to tears. I especially can relate because of a friend that deep inside I love, but he told me he wasnt looking for a girlfriend. It tore me apart because we do things that a couple does. Your poem only reminded me of the pain that I feel. Thank you for such a sweet poem.
