When I sat down to write this poem I had just recently moved, and I was feeling lonely. I had no male acquaintances yet and I was in need! One guy in particular had caught my eye, though. And, one night I was thinking of him and started to write . . . this is what I got:

This poem brought back memories of when I was 15 and had a major crush on this guy and it is exactly how i dreamed of him. Now 23 years later, I am dating him and everything I dreamt about him is true!

I like this poem because I like this guy named Chris and he used to like me but I didnt believe he did bcuz I had just got my heart broke so I figured he was jus another dumb guy tryin to break my heart and trust but i was wrong and I let go of the only thing that made me feel I belong but now he only comes in my dreams I wish it was in the day while I was awake but its not. but maybe one day .

This poem reminds me of my boyfriend because he's the last thing I think abotu before I go to sleep and the first thing I think about when I wake up. I just wish I could wake up and have him be the first thing i see.
