Summer's Final Bliss |
| by Ladycat |
The summer sun beats down on us,
As the heat melts our hearts,
To finally realize we love each other -
We never want to be apart.
The summer rays beat upon us,
As we share our first kiss.
For to have you in my life
truly would be bliss.
The sadness that I feel,
As the summer sun moves on,
Is the same sadness that I feel
Knowing our love is gone.
The last of our playing in the trees.
The last time to enjoy the sun.
Winter is soon coming our way,
Our summer soon is done.
