One |
| by Ashley Williams |
Lover lay me down to sleep,
I pray to you,
My soul to keep.
The one with the ticking metronome,
Is you.
So hold on tight.
Even though it is wrong,
I'm in love with you,
And you love me back.
Wild you have me,
Stirred up, crazy inside.
My hot blood about to boil over,
Love,
Soothe my spirit with your hand,
Caress my
Heart my
Body my
Soul.
Never let me go.
I'm safe within your arms,
This horrible world cannot get me here.
Cradle me close,
Bare skin barely daring to breathe.
Sweetheart, you're my savior,
The only thing worth in my wasted life,
It's pointless searching,
This hopeless yearning.
Wild animal cries eat at me,
A howl, a growl,
The time is now.
Help me before you leave,
Please,
Let me be me.
I'll be there for you, to hold
Up your head when you're drowning.
I'll dry your tears,
If you dry mine.
Walk with me,
Eternally.
Love, you know I'd,
Die for you,
Keep your heart going,
Because I know you'd do the same for me,
Love.
Let's dance in the moonlight,
And sing alone to the stars,
Together.
Two as one,
One soul,
One kiss,
One night.
