Soul Mates In Love

As I sit and think of you,
Knowing my feelings are shared by two,
You and I feel good together,
A love I hope we share forever.

I see others make love seem hard -
They hurt each other, its in their cards.
Their love is not honest and sincere,
Like our love we hold so dear.

As I think of times ahead,
Separation by death is what I dread,
For I love you with all my heart,
And from you I can't bear to part.

Shawn, my wonderful husband and soul mate for life,
I love you, sweetheart.

This poem expresses how I feel about my husband. We had been best friends for 13 years before we married 5 years ago. I trully feel we are soul mates and my life is so totally complete now, I know we will be this totally in love for many years to come.
